Design System (Recreation)

Crunchyroll is a streaming platform for anime, tv shows, and movies. Their design system is instantly recognisable due to their vibrant colour palette, approachable and netizen styled language, illustrated mascots, and use of interactions across their suite of elements.

I recreated the design system of Crunchyroll for several viewports (mobile and desktop) using atomic design principles. This included recreating:

• Icons

• Visual Language (e.g. typography and language)

• Elements (e.g. buttons, dropdowns, inputs, and menus)

Additionally, I attempted to recreate Crunchyroll’s design principles underpinning their product development and branding.
