Printed Newsletter

For an assignment, I had the opportunity to design a printed newsletter for the Sarjeant Quarterly, an art gallery based in Wellington, New Zealand. The newsletter is distributed every quarter and showcases events and exhibitions at the gallery.

My design was created in Adobe InDesign using images and copy provided to me. My design includes:

• Quicksand type family; A balance of antiquity and modernity, as well as a playful and curious feel

• Two columns per page

• Balanced margins; A slightly taller bottom margin to account for page numbers and running heads

• Vertical exhibition dates

• Complementary colour palette
